I was fortunate enough to become a paid caregiver for dad in his last 3 years.

I am a farmer with a formal education in electronics as well, so I have measured the sound in my head at a frequency of 10KHz, or 10,000 cycles per second. That is near the high limit of what a person over 60 can hear. In my younger days I could hear up to 18KHz
But then I could switch off the frequency generator, now the power is stuck on and
I can't get away.
